As the year turns the corner and many of us start planning ahead, I want to share something special with you, my personal list of 2026 travel destinations that truly changed the way I see the world 🌏.

Over the past three months, I returned from a life-changing journey through Central America and the Caribbean, exploring destinations that are raw, humbling, and deeply authentic. From ancient Mayan cities hidden in the jungle to colonial towns frozen in time, this trip was not about luxury or ticking boxes, but about meaningful travel, cultural connection, and spiritual reflection ✨.

#1 Havana, Cuba 🇨🇺 – What It Feels Like to Step Back Into 1950s Cuba

Vibe: Melancholic Beauty, Time Travel, Humbling

Havana Cuba Keith Yuen SG Travel Influencer (23)

Havana, Cuba – time frozen since the 50s

Havana, Cuba, holds a very special place in my heart ❤️. Stepping off the plane here isn’t just arriving in a new city; it is literally stepping into a time machine. Everything here is frozen in time, stuck perpetually in the 1950s. Walking the streets, you can see vividly how our grandparents or parents used to live. It is a living museum, breathing with a rhythm that is both incredibly vibrant and heartbreakingly stalled 🕰️.

We stayed in an Airbnb that was nothing short of amazing. Every item inside was vintage, not the “I bought this at a hipster flea market” vintage, but genuine, survived-through-the-decades vintage. It was like living in a movie set 🏠 🎞️.

And the cars! Oh, the cars. The vintage Chevys and Fords rolling down the Malecón are staggeringly beautiful, splashing colour against the crumbling colonial architecture 🚗. But talking to the locals, you realize the struggle behind the style. These machines are incredibly hard and expensive to maintain, kept alive by sheer ingenuity and necessity rather than hobbyism 🛠️.

There is a humbling reality here. Due to the complex geopolitics situation, the Cubans still live by the “Libreta de Abastecimiento”a ration book system. Daily portions of bread, rice, and noodles are distributed, remnants of the Soviet era that still dictate survival today 🍞.

For us Singaporeans who love our shopping, Cuba is a shock to the system. It has limited access to international brands due to long-standing trade restrictions. You won’t find your familiar fast-fashion outlets or global coffee chains here. And payment? Forget your Apple Pay or heavy metal credit cards. It is a cash-only world. For someone who relies entirely on cashless payments nowadays, finding myself counting notes again was a tough, yet grounding, adjustment to make 💵 🛍️.

One evening, we watched the sunset over Havana’s skyline. The colours of the sky reflected not just beauty, but a quiet sadness, a reminder of how different life can be when the world slows down involuntarily 🌅. In that moment, I thought of us, those of us in the developed world who wake up with unlimited choices, endless Wi-Fi, and overflowing supermarkets. We often forget how blessed we already are 💭.

Fun Fact: Soviet Hearts in American Bodies You will see plenty of shiny 1950s American classics, but peek under the hood and you might be surprised! Many of these vintage beauties actually run on diesel engines adapted from Soviet-era Ladas or even boats. It is the ultimate remix of Cold War history and Cuban ingenuity!

#2 Cancún, Mexico 🇲🇽 – Is Cancún Mexico Safe for Travellers in 2026?

Vibe: Fun, Fiesta, and Surprisingly Cultural (BTW, Mexico is North America, but it’s bordering Central America, hence I have included in this list)

Keith Yuen SG Travel Influencer Cancun Mexico Mayan Cenote

We had such a great time in Cancun Mexico!

Cancún… yeah, I know what you are thinking. It gets a rep. Folks whisper about cartels, violence, refugees, treating it like a place to tread carefully 🤐. But after spending two months traversing across Central America, I learned something powerful: Mexico is like that big brother everyone in the region looks up to. In every country we visited, people told me they adore and respect Mexico 🤝.

I am not sure why so many people are concerned about safety here, but we absolutely fell in love with Mexico! Maybe we went to the “party” places, but the vibe was nothing but welcoming 🎉.

Cancún literally stretches for 25 km along the turquoise coast in what’s known as the Zona Hotelera, a ribbon of beaches, resorts, nightlife, and unforgettable sunsets. It is the ultimate spot for long weekend getaways if you are based in the US, but for us coming from Asia, it is a gateway to wonder 🏖️ 🌊.

The Mexican culture’s chill vibe and the people are amazingly friendly. OMG, the birthday surprise night out my brother Ryan organized (my third birthday celebration of the trip, wow!) was legendary 🎂. Meeting wonderful Mexican friends, savoring mouthwatering vegetarian tacos, burritos, and nachos, it all felt like a Disney magical night out! 🌮

But it wasn’t just fiestas. We were deeply moved by the sheer majesty of Chichén Itzá, especially standing before the iconic El Castillo pyramid. This was a massive milestone for me, serving as the final grand Mayan temple on a trail that started all the way back in El Salvador, moving through Honduras, Guatemala, and Belize. Standing there, learning about the intricacies of Mayan life and their advanced astronomical precision, I felt a profound sense of clarity. I managed to connect the dots between their ancient beliefs and the truths found in all great religions, realizing that the core of humanity’s spiritual quest is beautifully similar no matter where you look 🏛️.

We also explored the adventurous and beautiful Samula Cenote. Swimming and diving in these fresh water sinkholes is spiritual. The Maya believed these were portals to the underworld, and floating in that cool, clear water, you can almost feel the ancient magic 🏊‍♂️.

Fun Fact: The Asteroid Impact The Chicxulub crater, buried underneath the Yucatán Peninsula near Cancún, is the impact site of the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs 66 million years ago. You are literally partying on ground zero of a planetary reset!

#3 Antigua, Guatemala 🇬🇹 – Is Antigua Guatemala Really Haunted? Our Airbnb Experience

Vibe: Spooky, Colonial Charm, Volcanic Majesty

Keith Yuen with Brother Ken Lim Sheng Xiang at Antigua and Lake Atitlán SG Travel Influencers with Buddies Melisa Tan, Yang Huiling, Melano Chua

Checking out the beautiful ancient colonial colourful town Antigua Guatemala

Antigua stole our hearts immediately with its cobblestone streets and pastel-hued colonial buildings. Dating back to the 16th century, it is one of the best-preserved Spanish Baroque towns in the Americas and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site 🏰. Every corner looks like a postcard, framed by three imposing volcanoes that watch over the city like sleeping giants 🌋.

We even had a hilarious “celebrity” encounter that totally made our trip. My younger brother, Ken Lim, and I were suddenly approached by a group of local young girls who were absolutely buzzing with excitement. Turns out, the K-pop craze is huge here, and seeing us Asian guys, they couldn’t resist asking for photos! We stood there posing while they giggled, feeling like absolute superstars. I’m not saying we looked like BTS, but for that moment, we definitely felt the Oppa love! 😂 🤳

However, it wasn’t all sunshine and architecture. We actually had a bona fide ghost encounter in our Airbnb! I’m talking unexplained noises and a heaviness in the air that you couldn’t shake 👻. When we mentioned it to the locals, they didn’t even blink. “Es normal,” they shrugged. Antigua is old, and it has many stories… some that haven’t moved on 😳. (You have to check out my Facebook post for the full special coverage story it’s wild: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17jfVx48KT/

Antigua Airbnb Scary Encounter Haunted

Beyond the spooks, we ventured to Lake Atitlán. Surrounded by volcanoes, this deep crater lake was considered sacred by the Maya. We hopped on a private boat and visited villages like San Juan and Santiago 🚤. We even stumbled upon a colourful local festival. The energy was surreal and vibrant, costumes, music, and a community spirit that makes you want to dance along 💃.

Fun Fact: A City of Spirits Antigua isn’t just famous for coffee, it is legendary for its ghosts! Known as the land of Leyendas (legends), locals will tell you stories of La Llorona (The Weeping Woman) and El Sombrerón wandering the cobblestone streets at night. With so many centuries-old ruins, it is easily one of the most haunted cities in the Americas!

#4 Flores, Guatemala 🇬🇹 – Exploring Tikal and Yaxhá: Walking Through Lost Cities

Vibe: Ancient Mysteries, Jungle Treks, Star Wars Realness

Keith Yuen SG Travel Influencer in Flores, Tikal Guatemala Mayan Temples

Indiana Jones moment in Tikal – the ancient Mayan Temples in Guatemala

Flores is a dreamy little island town on Lake Petén Itzá, connected to the mainland by a causeway. It is the perfect base for exploring the heavy hitters of the Mayan world: Tikal and Yaxhá 🏝️.

Wandering these ancient pyramids, we felt like extras in Jurassic Park or Tomb Raider. The scale is impossible to describe until you are standing at the base looking up 🦖. Tikal and Yaxhá showcase the absolute genius of Maya astronomy. These guys were aligning temples with celestial events with laser precision centuries before modern telescopes 🔭.

Tikal boasts Temple IV, a pyramid standing over 70 meters tall, once the tallest structure in the Americas! And Yaxhá? It sits between two lakes, blending the jungle and waterway in a harmony that feels ancient and untouched 🌿 📐.

We did the thrilling and exhausting exploration of these Mayan cities, involving a treacherous walk through jungles starting at 3 AM to catch the sunrise. Imagine hiking in pitch darkness, the jungle coming alive with the roar of howler monkeys (which sound like jaguars, terrifying!), just to sit atop a temple as the sun burns off the mist 🔦 🐒.

For me, this was personal. I managed to connect some dots between ancient and modern religious studies based on Maya astrophysics, temple star alignments, and lunar markers. It was one of the main reasons I had to make this trip, and it did not disappoint 🌌 🌕.

Fun Fact: A Galaxy Far, Far Away If the view from Temple IV in Tikal looks familiar, it’s because it was used as the rebel base on the moon Yavin 4 in the original Star Wars: A New Hope. You are literally walking in the footsteps of Luke Skywalker!

#5 Belize 🇧🇿 – Why Belize Is Central America’s Most Underrated Destination

Vibe: Un-BELIZE-able, Cave Tubing, Hidden Gem

Keith Yuen SG Travel Influencers Belize City Mayan Temple and Cave Tubing with Buddies Melisa Tan, Melano Chua, Yang Huiling

Un-BELIZE-able Cave Tubing, spectacular experience in one of the world most “dangerous” countries!

Before we arrived, we heard countless warnings about the danger, especially in Belize City ⚠️. I even met a British friend who lived there for a year and shared a bone-chilling story about a gunshot patient at a hospital calmly promising him that he will revenge and send more perpretrators to the hospital. That definitely made me feel uneasy before visiting! LOL. Naturally, being a kiasu Singaporean, I took all precautions: stayed in safer spots, kept alert, and did the usual safety drills 🛡️.

Belize is the ONLY English-speaking country in Central America! That alone makes it a breeze for travellers who might struggle with Spanish 🗣️. Our first impressions of Belize City were… mixed. It was once a proud capital, but not much is going on these days, and you can see the wear and tear 🏙️.

But here’s the twist: Belize, you surprised us! 💥

The real highlight was Cave Tubing! 💦🛟 I have crawled through caves across Asia, Africa, and the Americas, but tubing through ancient river caves? That is a first! Swimming and diving under limestone arches with friends, seeing Mayan carvings on the walls, bats flitting overhead, and feeling that cool breeze echoing through the underground river… It felt like we were in a real-life Tomb Raider movie 🦇 🎬.

Then came the real heart-pounding action. We ventured deeper into the cave system, squeezing through a narrow, claustrophobic gap to reach a hidden chamber. I can’t recall the name of this secret spot, but I will never forget the rush! We dove into an underground lake where the water was absolutely freezing—shock to the system cold—but undeniably thrilling. It was pitch dark, a complete void where our survival depended on the flickering beams of our torches. Swimming through that icy, silent abyss with nothing but darkness around us? Pure, unadulterated excitement! 🔦🥶

We also found many delicious restaurants serving Bubble Tea and fantastic vegetarian Asian food! OMG, finding comfort food halfway across the world is a blessing 🧋 🍜.

It was absolutely un-BELIZE-able! We only stayed a few days, but Belize stole a piece of my heart ❤️. Contrary to the warnings, the people were kind, warm, and so welcoming 🥹. Everyone we met was shocked by how their country is portrayed online 🫶.

Unbelizable Belize, you truly surprised us in the best way!

Fun Fact: Floating in the Underworld The cave systems in Belize, like the ones we explored, were believed by the ancient Mayans to be the entrance to Xibalba (the Underworld). When you are tubing through these dark rivers, you aren’t just swimming; you are technically floating through the sacred portal between the living and the dead!

#6 El Salvador 🇸🇻 – Is El Salvador Is One of the Safest Countries to Visit in Central America?

Vibe: Redemption, Safety, The “Singapore” of Central America

Keith Yuen SG Travel Influencers with Brother Ken Lim at El Salvador, Santa Ana Volcano, San Salvador, Mayan Temple with Buddies, Melisa Tan, Melano Chua, Yang Huiling

The beautiful historic National Palace (Palacio Nacional) in San Salvador, El Salvador

This tiny country once made headlines for all the wrong reasons, violence, gangs, danger. For years, it was a strict no-go zone for tourists 🚫.

But wow, how things have changed. Since President Bukele stepped in around 2022, El Salvador went from having the world’s highest homicide rate to becoming one of the safest spots in Latin America 👮‍♂️. Some even call it the Singapore of Central America… and as a proud Singaporean, that hit me right in the heart! 🇸🇬❤️

Now, let’s be real, the journey wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. Imagine arriving at the Guatemala-El Salvador border and seeing people casually carrying machetes, and a security guard with a shotgun standing guard in a mini-mart 😰. Sounds like a thriller movie, right? But surprisingly… it was chill 🛂.

Keith Yuen SG Travel Influencers with Brother Ken Lim at El Salvador, Santa Ana Volcano, San Salvador, Mayan Temple with Buddies, Melisa Tan, Melano Chua, Yang Huiling

I asked very politely why he needed a gun, and he replied, “To protect consumers!” I was like, “Oh… okayyy!”

We felt completely safe the whole way. The people? Oh, they’re next-level friendly! Central Americans are full of heart, always respectful, always smiling. Ken and I even got asked to pose for photos by locals. Yes, us! We had a mini celebrity moment. A bit of egos inflated… 😂 🤳.

The Mayan ruins of Tazumal and Joya de Cerén were mind-blowing. These weren’t just old rocks; they were ancient ceremonial centers dating back to 400 AD! I am grateful to have found some hidden secrets of the Mayans connecting to the Tao here ☯️ 🏛️.

But the real standout was the Santa Ana volcano hike, a trek that demanded grit right from our 5 AM wake-up call. While the climb is often described as manageable, it was far from straightforward, throwing a mix of treacherous gradients and shifting terrains our way. We started in the humidity of the dense jungle forestry, but soon the path evolved into a steeper, rockier challenge that really tested our endurance. The final leg towards the summit was the most tedious, requiring us to scramble over massive stones and loose rocks, a true physical battle against the mountain 🌋 🥾.

However, the thrill of the ascent was matched only by the beauty surrounding us. The views were absolutely spectacular at every single level, distracting us from the burn in our legs. When we finally conquered that last rocky stretch and reached the top by 10 AM, the wind was wild and roaring, making the victory feel even more intense. Staring down into the emerald crater lake, we knew it was totally worth the pain and effort. For Ken, claiming his first-ever crater summit in such dramatic fashion was a moment of pure triumph! 🌬️ 💪

And then, plot twist: we met Alex. A young guy who hikes up daily just to sell ice cream… at the top of a volcano! 🍦 At one of the coldest, windiest spots around. Did we buy one? Of course, we did. Cold on cold, why not support a hustler with heart? ❤️ 🧊.

Fun Fact: The Pompeii of the Americas Joya de Cerén in El Salvador is known as the “Pompeii of the Americas.” It is a pre-Columbian Maya farming village preserved remarkably intact under layers of volcanic ash. Unlike other ruins that were temples for the elite, this site shows how the common people lived.

#7 Granada, Nicaragua 🇳🇮 – Why Nicaragua Is a Hidden Gem for Authentic Travel

Vibe: Colonial Rainbows, Volcanic Islets, Sloth & Red Eye Tree Frog Hunting

Keith Yuen and Brother Ken Lim at Granada, Islets Granada, Mombacho Cloud Forest Nicaragua, SG Travel Influencers

Ken overlooking the beautiful colonia city of Granada, Nicaragua from the clock tower!

Stepping into Nicaragua for the very first time was like opening a treasure chest, surprising, colourful, and full of warmth ✨. The roads might be rugged and life here runs at a simpler pace, but that’s where its authentic charm lies 💛 🎁.

We spent our days strolling past row upon row of cheerful colonial homes painted in every shade of the rainbow—bubblegum pinks, sunshine yellows, and turquoise blues, with ornate wooden balconies and clay tile roofs proudly showing off Granada’s timeless style 🌈 🏘️.

The Islets of Granada are a hidden maze of tiny islands on Lake Nicaragua 🛶. Formed by ancient volcanic activity, they are home to birds, howler monkeys, and floating serenity 🐒. Holding that paddle actually built up my arm muscles, haha, who knew vacation was the new workout? 💪 🚣‍♂️.

Keith Yuen and Brother Ken Lim at Granada, Islets Granada, Mombacho Cloud Forest Nicaragua, SG Travel Influencers

Next up, we ascended into the lofty heights and misty magic of Mombacho Volcano. The cloud forest here is dense, dreamy, and dripping with greenery, but it was the thick, swirling mist that truly stole the show 🌫️. It cloaked everything in a layer of mystery, making the twisted branches and massive ferns look like something out of a fantasy novel. Walking through it felt ethereal, like we were exploring a secret world hidden within the clouds, where every turn revealed a new, ghostly silhouette of nature 🌿.

This unique ecosystem creates a perfect natural habitat for an incredible array of flora and fauna. The moisture-laden air feeds lush orchids and bromeliads that cling to every available surface, turning trees into vertical gardens. Of course, I was on a mission, cross-eyed for hours scanning the canopy for sloths. When we finally spotted them, they were, you guessed it, sound asleep 😴. Classic sloth move, perfectly at peace in their high-rise, leafy bedrooms while we marveled from below 🦥.

But my personal highlight? A teeny tiny red-eyed tree frog hopped right onto my chest during a wildlife walk 🐸. I swear it was giving me a cheeky side-eye. Undeniably cute, irresistibly photogenic, and it absolutely zeroed into my heart ❤️. We wanted to smuggle it home but… nope 😅. International wildlife laws FTW 📸 🌍.

We were living it up in an enormous villa in Granada, think RENT a castle vibes with three master ensuites, a private garden, and a personal swimming pool 🏡💦. Summer goals unlocked 🔓☀️.

Fun Fact: The “Flash” Defense The iconic Red-Eyed Tree Frog uses its vibrant colours as a defense mechanism called “startle coloration.” When disturbed, it flashes its giant red eyes and orange feet to shock predators for a split second, just enough time to hop away!

#8 Costa Rica 🇨🇷 – Hot Springs, Volcanoes, and Cloud Forest Adventures, Why Costa Rica Is Perfect for Nature Lovers and Families

Vibe: Pura Vida, Nature Overload, Hot Springs

Keith Yuen and Brother Ken Lim at Costa Rica, SG Travel Influencers, Sloth, Red Eye Tree Frog, Paradise Hot Spring, Poas Volcano

Grounded by nature, lifted by the moment in Costa Rica 🌿

Costa Rica is often hailed as the poster child for sustainable travel, but let’s be real, I had read so many scary online comments about high crime rates in San José that I was a little on edge 😟. However, we were truly blessed to meet some of the most beautiful, warm-hearted people who completely shattered those fears. And get this: we visited during the rainy season, yet we were gifted with glorious sunshine almost every day! ☀️ It felt like a little blessing from above, allowing us to capture stunning photos of the city at its best 📸.

There is also a surprising calmness to San José that I didn’t expect. Amidst the vibrant streets, there’s a gentle rhythm to life here that feels incredibly grounding 🕊️. It was a heartwarming introduction to the country before the real adventure hit in Cartago, La Fortuna, and a cozy coffee plantation 🌱. It was a reminder that sometimes, peace is found in the places you least expect it.

We soaked in Paradise Hot Springs with the Poás Volcano erupting behind us. Talk about drama! 🌋 At Poás, you can actually see the crater lake bubbling and steaming. Hot springs with an active erupting volcano as a backdrop? That’s next-level relaxation ♨️ 🤯.

Costa Rica’s landscapes are legendary, and exploring them felt like stepping into a secret garden. The cloud forests here are incredibly mysterious; walking through them, you can feel the moisture being captured from passing clouds, creating a misty ecosystem that feels almost otherworldly 🌳 ☁️. The journey itself was just as breathtaking. En route from San José to the Poás Volcano Hot Springs, we stumbled upon a magnificent waterfall that demanded a photo stop! We also visited a beautiful coffee plantation that looked like it was straight out of a movie. Sipping fresh local coffee while watching vibrant hummingbirds zip around the flowers? That is a memory I will cherish forever ☕🐦.

Wildlife highlights included green iguanas everywhere 🦎those big, spiky-backed dudes sunbathing unreally slow. And sloths! We learned there are two-fingered sloths (Choloepus) and three-fingered sloths (Bradypus). The two-fingered ones are faster on the ground, while the three-fingered ones sleep up to 20 hours a day 😴.

Fun Fact: A Biodiversity Heavyweight Costa Rica makes up only 0.03% of the earth’s surface but contains nearly 6% of the world’s biodiversity. It is one of the most biologically intense places on the planet!

#9 Bahamas 🇧🇸 – Why the Bahamas Is One of the Most Beautiful Island Destinations in 2026

Vibe: Paradise Found, Piggy Paddles, 50 Shades of Blue

Keith Yuen SG Travel Influencers at Pig Beach Bahamas

Just chilling here the entire day is such a rejuvenating thing to do!

First time stepping foot into the Bahamas and I finally understand why everyone calls it paradise! 🏝️ The ocean here is like a giant gemstone, shifting from turquoise to emerald green. Fun fact: the magical colours come from shallow white sandy bottoms mixed with sunlight reflecting off coral reefs. Nature really knows her filter game! 😍 💎.

And yes… I was worried about hurricanes and the rainy season, but instead, we got endless blue skies. Truly blessed! 🌞 ☔.

Now, the highlight of the Bahamas… PIG BEACH! I never thought I’d be squealing louder than the pigs themselves, but there I was, giggling in the water as these pink cuties paddled around like professional swimmers. Imagine swimming next to a pig who thinks he’s Michael Phelps… 🏊‍♂️ 🐷.

The origin story? Nobody’s quite sure. Legend says sailors left them here years ago, intending to cook them, or perhaps they swam over from a shipwreck ⚓. Regardless, they thrived and created their own tropical piggy paradise 🏴‍☠️.

Do you like to swim with the pigs 🐖? Tell ya a secret: they pooped in front of me many times 🥹🙈. It’s all part of the “authentic nature” experience, right? 💩 😂.

Fun Fact: Visible from Space The waters of the Bahamas are so incredibly clear and vibrant that astronaut Scott Kelly called it the most beautiful place from space! The mesmerizing “50 shades of blue” are created by the shallow limestone banks and white sand reflecting the sunlight.

#10 Panama 🇵🇦 – Why Panama Is One of the Most Fascinating Travel Destinations

Vibe: Engineering Marvels, Jungle Tribes, Reflection

Keith Yuen and Brother Ken Lim at Panama Embera Tribe, Panama Canal, SG Travel Influencers

The quiet, timeless beauty of the Panama Canal!

Since I was a kid, I read about the mighty Panama Canal, the legendary waterway connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It’s one of the world’s most important shipping routes, and seeing it in real life felt like stepping into the pages of a history book 🚢.

But here’s the surprise twist… I didn’t expect Gatún Lake, a man-made lake created to operate the canal—to be a secret wildlife haven! We cruised through its calm waters and spotted not one, not two, but THREE stunning monkey species: howler monkeys, white-faced capuchins, and the super curious Geoffroy’s tamarins 🐵❤️. Getting this close to them? Absolutely adorable! 👋🏻 🚤.

The adventure didn’t stop there. We paddled deep into Panama’s lush rainforest by canoe 🌧️🛶 to meet the Embera people, one of Panama’s indigenous tribes who live in harmony with the land. Living simply, preserving their rich traditions, and sharing their stories… it was both humbling and inspiring 🙏🏽 🌿.

Traveling deep into Panama’s rainforest wasn’t just about distance; it was about depth. I realized how little we truly need to be content. The Embera people live simply, yet fully connected to nature, family, and tradition. There’s a quiet wisdom in their way of life that made me pause and reflect on my own 🧘‍♂️ ✨.

Fun Fact: Two Oceans, One Day In Panama, you are the only place in the world where you can see the sun rise on the Pacific and set on the Atlantic… from the same spot! (With a little bit of elevation, of course).

Wrapping Up: Lessons from the Road – Why Central America and the Caribbean Deserve Your Attention

As I sit back in Singapore, reflecting on these 2026 travel destinations, I realize that this trip was more than just checking countries off a list. It was a reminder that the world is vast, but our shared humanity makes it small 🇸🇬 🌏.

Keith Yuen SG Influencers in Honduras

In Honduras, strangers smile like family, and the heart feels right at home.

In a world chasing “more”, more money, more followers, more speed, maybe the real richness is found in slowing down. It is found in the smile of an ice cream seller on a volcano, the silence of a Mayan temple at dawn, or the simple contentment of a tribe deep in the jungle. Sometimes, the further you go from the noise, the closer you get to clarity. 🌿 🐢.
