Among all the different types of travelers, you certainly do not wish to miss out meeting these types of travelers, especially when you are traveling alone! They not only brings you fun, but also may provide you an unforgettable experience! Their mission is to make your trip more interesting and the last thing you will feel is – loneliness! 🙂

8 Types of Fun Travelers You Don’t Wanna To Miss When You Travel:

Number 1 – The Beauty Travelers

When you are in a foreign country, the best “complete” photo is to get your beautiful travel mates into the photos as well. Beautiful people + beautiful scenery! Shallow as it sounds, it’s true in certain extent! haha

They may not be the speediest travelers, may take their time to dress up and late at times for dinner or for breakfast! Usually, they will carry along BIG suitcases! haha But it’s totally worth it to wait for them isn’t it? LOL

Number 2 – The Cam Whore Travelers

This could be an irritating type of travelers! FOREVER taking photos! haha Not about selfies but keep asking their “new friends” constantly taking their photos everywhere and anywhere! Literally at some off random places as well! -_-!!! haha I gotta give this “honorable title” to my Brazilian buddy Gustavo Arruda and Singaporean Buddy Wilson Toh! hahaha They could hit 500 photos a day! Most amazingly, they post NONE on social media! haha How WEIRD? haha

 

 

 

 

 

Mostly Found In: Everywhere Anywhere

Number 3 – The Party Animal Travelers

Their infectious energy carries everyone into clubs and bars. They are very generous and usually will lure you with their charm and generosity! They know where they are heading to initially, but might be a little lost on their way back. They are literally nocturnal! haha 🙂

Number 4 – The Cool Looking Travelers

Usually large husky male human between the age of 18 and believe it or not 30, primarily keeping their image cool and suave! Haha to be exact, they are generally good looking boys and “Casanova” type and usually girls will drool at them.

Mostly Found In: Clubs / Bars / Beach

Number 5 – The Funny Comedian Travelers

Nothing can bore you down with the presence of this type of travelers! haha The comedian travelers are the funniest! They will amaze you with their funny unintentional jokes or encounters. During long bus/train rides, they will not leave you alone and sleep. They will think of ways to keep you entertained i.e. magic tricks, games or being a douche-bag at the poor random stranger! haha

 

Dalton: Cute as he looks, he is actually quite intelligent. A law undergrad, but he is featured here because when we were traveling in Europe, he had a clumsy experience in Amsterdam, which was really funny! haha That incident got him a cut at his forehead! The funny part was, he absolutely had no idea how he got that cut! haha

 

Ben and Lisa is a funny as hell couple! haha I learnt that hashbrown could explode on a plate from Lisa! haha & Ben have this classic imitation dance of Melano, with a name call “Can you get this, can you get that!” haha

 

Amy and Sarah wanted to organise a room chocolate party and invite guest to do fugly photos in Europe! As fun as it sounds, haha it didnt happen! LOL We did fugly photos in Gold Coast, Australia instead! haha

 

Jordan and Katie were the funniest couple ever. They are hardcore party animals yet with maturity! Jordan and Katie never failed to entertain us with their humorous jokes and games on the long road trips in Europe! Gustavo usually was the one we enjoyed laughing at! haha

 

Jordan proposed to Katie and they are happily married. When I was in Toronto, they brought me here, the romantic place that Katie said the magical word “yes” to Jordan! haha I did the same thing here too but I made Jordan my photographer this time round! haha

 

Jordan and I headed to the Sin City, Las Vegas, USA. We had a great time. I’m not a gambler, but the first time I tried playing jackpot I won lotsa money. Ended up playing cards at the table! haha Eventually, I won a couple hundreds of American dollars at Bellagio. I know it was beginner’s luck! That was my first and the very last time gambling! haha

 

Nick nick nick… haha I remember he had many injuries in Russia! The funniest incident, he was merely hopping around happily at the gas station in Poland, the bus driver opened the door for us and the automatic door hit right at his face! LOL Luck clearly wasn’t at his side! haha

 

Back to Katie and Jordan, we were checking out the Hockey hall of fame in Toronto! I was soooo impressed and had so much fun playing around at the hockey hall of fame! It was after an hour or so, I realised it wasn’t field hockey (initially i thought India or Australia are pretty good at it as wel). It was all about ICE hockey! haha Yea… Canada and Ice, I can relate it now! My bad! haha

 

Clare was classic! The minute she knew I was coming from Singapore, she was very excited and shared with me how impressed she was with the Singapore airport. She went on a bit and after 10 minutes of the conversation, I felt something amiss and it came to my understanding, she didn’t transit in Singapore, instead, it was Hong Kong! haha

 

Vincent and Tracy, one of the coolest couple I ever met! Never failed to entertain me with their moves or jokes! haha Classic moment in Russia, a poor Kyrgyzstan taxi driver were driving us round and round in Moscow, probably trying to rip us off! We were literally shouting and yelling at him, the poor taxi driver was so scare of us! haha Never mess around with this couple! haha On the flip side, they are really very cool couple! haha

 

Jaime and Voodoo! haha I met Jaime and Voodoo (a name given by me to this Russian man because he was very mysterious to us and we had no idea what’s his name) in Ireland. We went on a day trip to Limerick and Cliff of Moher. Throughout the trip, Voodoo was very mysterious and was kinda unfriendly towards Jaime, despite she greeted him a few times. haha So, what makes him kinda mysterious? First of all, he didn’t like to take any photos, because he didn’t understand the English guide, hence he fell asleep during coach ride, and throughout the day, he merely carried a small plastic bag with him, nonchalant about the amazing sites we went, very tough and unapproachable personality. So Jaime left him alone.

Coincidentally the next day, the three of us signed up for the another trip to Northern Ireland, Belfast and Giant Causeway! This time round, my turn to try and I tried to approach him, perhaps, I have a less threatening personality, he eventually opened up to me! haha Anyway, because of the language barrier, it was tough communicating to him. He was still kinda mysterious to us, we were just curious about his background and purpose for the trip! Was he on a mission trip? Was he planning for some business in Ireland? What kind of dealing was he doing? LOL During the journey, we were literally using a translation app to communicate with Voodoo.

On the 3rd day in Dublin, we continue to hang out and explored Dublin together. As I was running some errands (finding the post office), Jaime and Voodoo went on to explore Trinity college and did a ghost tour that evening. Jaime keeps blaming me for “abandoning” her with Voodoo. LOL Jaime even instructed me to report to the police if she went disappeared with Voodoo! haha We speculated too much about Voodoo, and the whole entire episode on voodoo was hilarious! Alex aka Voodoo, turns out to be a nice gentleman, just with an angry Russian face + thick Russian accent + unsociable personality, probably due to language barrier! haha

Number 6 – The Group Travelers

Time for the count-off at the beginning and ending of each outing. Traveling in group is always very fun! (Only when everyone is on the same page) Usually slower traveling pace and for others can be hard to penetrate into their circles! Except traveling with my buddies, I was thankful to the groupies for opening up a small individual space for me and accommodated me into their circle! 🙂

A little different from Party Animals Travelers, you could see them during daytime, just… perhaps… they may not be at tip top condition! haha

Number 8 – The Social Butterfly Travelers

Their infectious energy and charm will seduced you into their world. You will enjoy hanging out with them especially when you are alone. They won’t have much attention span with you because they have too many people to take care. haha They are generally great people and with great personality. You will feel comfortable to be in the group. There are good in connecting different people with different personality together! 🙂
